Cookies for a better browsing experience

What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files, created to save certain data from the websites that you visit. For example the selection of a language, your connection data or other settings. Cookies are necessary to improve the operation of the website and are used for statistical purposes. They do not record your name, address or other personal data.

Only the website that created the cookie can access the file. The file itself only contains text and cannot perform any action on your computer. It is therefore only used to provide additional information to your browser. A cookie – since it contains only a small amount of data – is therefore harmless.

However, if you feel that your privacy is not being respected, you can adjust your browser settings to prevent cookies from being stored on your computer or to prevent cookies from saving data. Navigation on the Global Power Systems GmbH website will still be possible.

For web statistics

Statistics about this website are stored using Google Analytics and Google Search Console. This website analysis service, offered by Google Inc., is one of the most widely used.

We use this data only to analyze your visit to our site. For example: which pages are the most visited, which browsers are used by visitors to our site or how long is your visit?

Based on Google Analytics and Google Search Console statistics, we can improve the site. We ask for your permission to use these cookies via a banner.

The information that is generated is sent to Google, which stores it on servers in the United States. Google will use this information to evaluate how the website is used, to compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google will not combine your IP address with any other data at its disposal. For more information about the Google Analytics Privacy Policy, see About Google Analytics.

What information is collected on this site via cookies?

Each time you visit our website, if cookies are not disabled, our server automatically recognizes your domain of origin. However, it does not automatically detect your e-mail address or name.
